Overview

Nestled in the heart of Sekinchan at 153, Jalan Radin, Ririhuat Kopitiam offers an authentic slice of Malaysian-Chinese culinary heritage. This unpretentious coffee shop has cultivated a loyal following, thanks to its comforting atmosphere and a menu that showcases traditional favorites with a local twist. As a hub for both locals and visitors, it's a place to savor the essence of Selangor’s vibrant food scene.

The culinary highlights here are rooted in classic dishes that capture the soul of kopitiam dining. The Chee Cheong Fun remains a signature, silky rice noodle roll that delights with its delicate texture and savory sauces, though some visitors note it can be seasonal in availability. Dim sum selections like Siew Mai and 糯米猪 (Lo Mai Gai), the glutinous rice chicken wrapped in lotus leaves, emphasize the kitchen’s commitment to tradition and quality. For noodle lovers, the Lala-Bihun stands out — a vibrant clam vermicelli soup enriched with rice wine, offering a depth of flavor that's both comforting and refreshing.

The kopitiam also excels in beverage offerings. Their Kopi comes highly recommended, with a robust yet smooth profile that pairs perfectly with breakfast staples like half-boiled kampung eggs or the famously popular polo bun. One can't miss the famed iced brewed coffee, praised for its balance and richness, which complements spices found in dishes such as chili shrimp paste noodles, delivering an exciting harmony of heat and aroma.

The space itself is inviting — simple and well-maintained, exuding a relaxed charm that encourages leisurely mornings and casual gatherings. Despite its growing popularity, partly driven by social media exposure, Ririhuat Kopitiam retains a warm, down-to-earth vibe, making it an ideal stop for anyone seeking a genuine local breakfast or tea-time experience amidst the tranquil atmosphere of Sekinchan.

Visitors targeting an authentic Malaysian kopitiam experience will appreciate the swift, friendly service and the diverse menu that balances traditional staples with regional specialties. Whether you’re a food enthusiast exploring Sekinchan or a local seeking a reliable spot for comforting eats, Ririhuat Kopitiam delivers both flavor and familiarity in equal measure.

Lor Mai Zhu is their signature specialty. A good pitstop of you are visiting Sekinchan and also the go-to breakfast destination. The prices are reasonable and the service is fast. It used to be a hidden gem but it has become touristy due to a surge in popularity via social media. Overall, it is a good place for tea and breakfast while enjoying the peaceful ambience.

*Ririhuat Kopitiam Ririhuat Kopitiam, located at Jalan Radin in Sekinchan town, is a well-known coffee shop that offers a taste of local flavors and a cozy atmosphere. It's a popular spot for both residents and tourists alike. The menu typically includes a variety of traditional Malaysian and Chinese dishes, and of course, a selection of coffee and tea. If you're in Sekinchan, Ririhuat Kopitiam is definitely worth a visit to experience some delicious local cuisine. A must try for their Lala-Bihun that offers tasty rice wine added to the soup base. *Soya Bean Drink Seller I recently had the pleasure of trying the soya bean drink from the roadside seller in Sekinchan town, located right opposite Ririhuat Kopitiam at Jalan Radin, and I must say it was a delightful experience. The soya bean drink was not only tasty but had that genuine, authentic flavor that's hard to find elsewhere. Every sip was a reminder of how simple, pure ingredients can create something truly amazing. I highly recommend stopping by this vendor for a refreshing and delicious treat.

Best Coffee in Town! I was amazed by the iced brewed coffee here—it’s rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced. It pairs so well with their special chili shrimp paste noodles, which have a fantastic spicy kick. The restaurant is clean and comfortable, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal.

This shop serves delicious fried bananas, kuih udang, popiah and others. Very crispy and when dipped in chili sauce was incredible. Great snacks for tea time.

All the tourists will definitely dropby here for breakfast. Even the local will recommend this restaurant to me. The glutinous rice pork taste good normally we eat glutinous rice chicken and hardly have glutinous rice pork. You can even take away those frozen one home so that you can steam it at home. The frozen type cost RM4.90 each. Each packet comes with 5 pieces. The pork noodles is ok, soup very clear. The Siew Mai is so so lah, the char Siew pao is a no no for us. Drinks ok lah, the coffee ice do looks good but the coffee taste is not strong enough for us Not enough to try other things and I don’t mind to come back again to try other stuff

We had clay pot Lao shu fen (rm7), Chee cheong fun (rm6). Lao shu fen is creamy thick and unique. Chee cheong fun is served with pickled radish minced meat and flavourful dried shrimps. It is special as well. Three layer tea is worth a try. We came about 10 am and missed the chance of having toast. The downside is that it is quite pricey for a breakfast place in a small town.
